Spring Break

This Spring Break, I was able to finally make it back down to Murrells Inlet after about 6 months of not being able to visit.  I was able to stroll down the beach with my two dogs and not have to worry about stepping over people tanning or being hit in the head with a frisbee.  I was able to lay on the dock and dive in the water.  I felt at home. 

My family and I have traditions of playing a card game every night while watching a movie.  It is a good way to wind down a day at the beach.  Additionally, we were able to set up our hammock and take a simple nap listening to the birds instead of hearing drunk teenagers and horns honking constantly.  Finally, we were able to visit my favorite restaurant, River City Cafe, which is walking distance away.  This spring break was exactly the break I needed after a long first half of the semester in the mountains.
