What is the Beach Supposed to be?


Every time someone says that they are going to the beach, I instantly think of the serene secluded privacy of my beach house off the coast of South Carolina.  Others, however, think of overcrowded beaches with loud, drunk people with condos and hotels as far as the eye can see. What is the point of going on vacation if you are going to be faced with wall to wall people?




The beach is supposed to be a place where you can lay on a hammock and listen to the wildlife as you sway in the breeze. It is supposed to be a place where you can loose yourself in the beauty instead of in the crowd. You are supposed to sit with your feet in the water and catch crabs off the end of the dock and play with them while they sleep.  The beach is a place to completely relax and become your true self.

    where is your secluded beach house? i would tend to think sea pines, hilton head would be the best destination for the seclusion and relaxation of the beach

    It is off the coast of South Carolina. A place called Murrells Inlet.

    The beach is definitely the type of place I need to be right now! Overcrowding is something that I would say is a pain and can be unbearable at times because the beach is (in my opinion) suppose to be a constant vacation whether you live there permanently or your just on vacation. Ultimately though I believe you go to relax and you shouldn't let anyone interfere with your rest and relaxation. Oh man I wish I was at the beach now!
